Plotting with Pictures

Meet me at Petticoats and Pistols, talking about photography in Plotting with Pictures. Giveaway of 2 copies of The Shadow Catcher's Daughter.

  1. What a neat post, Carla! What sources have you found most helpful for finding historical photos like that?

    1. Hi Kiersti, I find Google Books to be a great resource, Wikipedia often has historical images, and historical societies are great! And just a good ole image search for the setting. In this case my search included the year and often I put in "tintype" or "19th century photograph". For colonials I search for paintings and illustrations.
